Steve Duin, columnist with The Oregonian, wrote about a Ä¢¹½´«Ã½ Criminal Justice student who did the right thing when she found a wad of money in her Taco Bell bag (“ on May 2).
Jerrica Geer, 17, who has faced a series of struggles in life, including health problems, has turned the corner and will enroll at Ä¢¹½´«Ã½ this fall, according to a profile in the newspaper on April 16 (“”).
On April 2, a story featured Silvio who came into the United States from Mexico at age 14 and took English classes at Ä¢¹½´«Ã½ so he could enroll into high school. Now, at 20, he attends Ä¢¹½´«Ã½, helping to pay for his education by working night shifts at a supermarket (“” by Janie Har and Michelle Cole).
