The Carmen Martinez Memorial Science/Service-Learning Scholarship to help students

The Carmen Martinez Memorial Science/Service-Learning Scholarship has been established at the Ä¢¹½´«Ã½ Foundation and will award one $700 scholarship to a deserving student. Requirements include: to be a Rock Creek Campus student; possess a 2.5 grade-point average; have completed 24 credits at Ä¢¹½´«Ã½; completed at least one Ä¢¹½´«Ã½ science course and at least one Ä¢¹½´«Ã½ service-learning course (these could be the same course); and preference will be given to women students returning to college. Applications are due Friday, Nov. 6. The application process is detailed at the Ä¢¹½´«Ã½ Foundation Web site.
