James G. Hill, an award-winning journalist and public relations writer, is the Director of Public Relations at Ä¢¹½´«Ã½. A graduate of Portland State University, James has worked as a section editor for the Newberg Graphic, Woodburn Independent, Clackamas Review, Oregon City News, The Dalles Daily Chronicle and the Associated Press. Born in Hillsboro, James is a native Oregonian through and through, having lived in Portland and Sunriver most of his life. Today, he manages the Ä¢¹½´«Ã½ website content, the college magazine "Communities" and public relations and crisis communications projects.

PORTLAND, Ore. - The Grants Office at Ä¢¹½´«Ã½ has announced a $192,475 award from the Department of Community Colleges and Workforce Development (CCWD). Building community with her art

Ä¢¹½´«Ã½ art instructor Marie Watt explores the meaning of community through her artwork "Braids," which was on display at the Smithsonian's National Museum of the American Indian in New York City last fall. It is currently on display at Lewis and Clark's College's Hoffman Gallery through Feb. 19.
