Event Partners

The Ä¢¹½´«Ã½ Women’s Resource Center, Ä¢¹½´«Ã½ Community-Based Learning and the Ä¢¹½´«Ã½ Ready Bag and Community Resilience Project co-host Earthquake Preparedness Events on our campuses! Ä¢¹½´«Ã½ students are invited to attend the events and put together their own free Ready Bag, a disaster preparedness starter kit.

We are looking for community and Ä¢¹½´«Ã½ partners who would like to join us in the following ways:

  • Tabling and/or hosting a demonstration
    • Tables and demonstrations should be focused on disaster preparedness or building community.
    • We encourage tabling and demonstrations that focus on accessibility (multiple languages, disability awareness, and more!)
  • Donations of Ready Bag Supplies/Materials

 

Ä¢¹½´«Ã½ this Project

The Ä¢¹½´«Ã½ Ready Bags & Community Resilience Project was started through an Eco-Social Justice grant. This initiative is working to educate and prepare students for the aftermath of a large subduction zone earthquake.
