Urgent student need funding is available on a limited basis. We have opened a new referral just for requesting funds. If you are in need of assistance, submit an urgent student need request form when the process is open.
Funding update
Urgent student need funding will open for Fall 2026 on Wednesday, September 30 at 8am. Funding is limited and the request form will close when funding for the term is exhausted. In the interim, if you need help connecting with outside funding or basic needs support, please submit a .
Additional information related to this funding:
- Students can request up to $1,000 for a documented need they are currently experiencing.
- A zero balance on your student account or an active/current payment plan in place is required.
- Approval is contingent upon continuing enrollment (must be actively enrolled in at least 1 credit or ABE/ESOL).
- This is taxable income. It will appear on your tax form 1098T. If you are unsure what the 1098T is, see educational tax credits.
- You are only eligible once during the 2026-27 academic year (Summer 2026-Spring 2027).
- Documentation is required:
- Submit bill that is in your name. Information will need to include your name, the current amount due or less than four weeks past due. The address on the bill must match the address on file with Ä¢¹½´«Ã½.
- If you do not have a bill but have another need for supplies or technology for your classes, submit a screenshot or picture of what you need, including the cost.
