Capture what makes Ä¢¹½´«Ã½ awesome – whether it’s your classes, student life, campus events, or hidden gems – and share it with the community. Plus, you’ll work with Ä¢¹½´«Ã½â€™s Marketing & Communications team, build your portfolio, and have a blast along the way. Ready to level up your social media game and make an impact? What is a social media ambassador?

A Social Media Ambassador is a student storyteller, content creator, and Ä¢¹½´«Ã½ advocate all rolled into one! You’ll use your creativity and social media savvy to showcase what it’s like to be a Ä¢¹½´«Ã½ student. You can be on camera or behind the scenes – either way, we want to see Ä¢¹½´«Ã½ through your eyes. Using Instagram Reels, posts, and event coverage, you’ll help share the real Ä¢¹½´«Ã½ experience with current and future students.

What you’ll do

• Create Instagram and TikTok posts weekly highlighting campus life, events, programs, and resources.
• Attend two Ä¢¹½´«Ã½ events per term and share them on social media.
• Host one Instagram Story takeover per term to give followers a behind-the-scenes look at Ä¢¹½´«Ã½.
• Engage with Ä¢¹½´«Ã½â€™s official social media accounts by liking, commenting, and sharing.
• Meet every other week with the Marketing team to brainstorm and plan content.

Time commitment: Approx. 6 hours per week (60 hours per term)

Who we’re looking for

We’re searching for creative, outgoing, and reliable students who love social media and are passionate about Ä¢¹½´«Ã½! If you enjoy capturing moments, following trends, and creating content that resonates, this is the perfect opportunity for you.

Minimum qualifications:

• Current Ä¢¹½´«Ã½ student in good academic, financial, and behavioral standing.
• Comfortable using Instagram Reels and/or TikTok.
• Ability to create engaging, high-quality content.
• Committed to maintaining a positive online presence.
• Must follow and engage with Ä¢¹½´«Ã½â€™s official social media accounts.

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience with video editing, photography, or graphic design.
• Involvement in Ä¢¹½´«Ã½ student organizations, clubs, or activities.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team.
• Interest in social media trends, digital marketing, or content strategy.
• Familiarity with Ä¢¹½´«Ã½ campuses, resources, and student services.
