Neighborhood Parking
Overview
Ä¢¹½´«Ã½ (Ä¢¹½´«Ã½) works to maintain safe, livable neighborhoods and to reduce congestion from Ä¢¹½´«Ã½ related parking. This explains where Ä¢¹½´«Ã½ members, visitors, and vendors may park.
Who This Applies To
- People driving to Ä¢¹½´«Ã½ for work, classes, or other Ä¢¹½´«Ã½ activities
General Rules
- Ä¢¹½´«Ã½ members, visitors, and vendors must park on Ä¢¹½´«Ã½ property while conducting Ä¢¹½´«Ã½ business.
- Parking in nearby neighborhoods is not allowed during Ä¢¹½´«Ã½ related activities.
- A Ä¢¹½´«Ã½ parking permit does not allow parking in neighborhood areas.
Neighborhood Boundaries
- Ä¢¹½´«Ã½ does not publicly share specific neighborhood boundary lines.
- Residents and Ä¢¹½´«Ã½ staff are not authorized to grant neighborhood parking permissions to Ä¢¹½´«Ã½ students, visitors, or vendors.
- If asked about boundaries, staff will direct Ä¢¹½´«Ã½ members to park on campus.
Enforcement
Transportation & Parking Services may issue warnings to vehicles located in the neighborhood who are suspected of being Ä¢¹½´«Ã½ members.
- If a vehicle receives multiple warnings, Ä¢¹½´«Ã½ staff will review:
- Whether the vehicle is registered to a Ä¢¹½´«Ã½ member
- Whether warning times match the person’s Ä¢¹½´«Ã½ schedule
- If a violation is confirmed, Ä¢¹½´«Ã½ may issue a citation by mail or email.
- A Ä¢¹½´«Ã½ parking permit does not prevent neighborhood citations.
